Kenny Taylor is a Henderson native currently running for re-election as Henderson Constable.

Constable Kenny Taylor was born and raised in Henderson, Nevada. He spent 23 years in the construction industry, where he worked his way up the ladder from laborer to foreman to superintendent and finally to Project Manager/Officer for Nevada State Bank. In 2009, Kenny transitioned into law enforcement, accepting a job with the Wyoming Department of Corrections. In 2010, he married his wife, Melissa Woodbury, and moved back to Henderson, taking a job with the Nye County Fifth District Court as a Bailiff for former Henderson resident Judge Robert Lane. In that capacity, Kenny tackled many responsibilities, including working with drug court participants and serving felony warrants and Temporary Protection Orders. In 2015, Kenny was hired on as an Investigator with the State of Nevada Transportation Authority, where he worked until he was elected to the Henderson Constable’s Office in 2018.

A Henderson native, Constable Taylor is committed to protecting the peace, citizens, quality of life, and character of our hometown. His experience, strong work ethic, leadership, and uncompromising integrity guide him as he serves our community.
